The Santa Croce complex, founded in 1324, on a pre-existing 13th century building near a reclamation canal from the tenth century located in the lands of a certain Bando (mentioned in the eleventh century), is today entrusted to the order of friars minor, while the large cloister was used, in the last years of the twentieth century, as an accommodation facility. The entrance orch from the fifteenth century has been attributed to Michelozzo, one of the greatest representatives of the Italian Renaissance. The interior of the Church is simple, with a single hall divided into four spans with cross vaults. On the high altar stands the Enthroned Madonna with musician angels by Alvar Pirez d'Evora, from the 15th century.
