National and foreign directors and screenwriters have chosen the city of Pisa to be the set of unforgettable stories. This is a striking itinerary that winds through the alleys and squares of the city, in an imaginary path between scenes of films shot in the shadow of the leaning tower, and in the discovery of theatres, more or less modern, and of cinemas that have made history.
The Isola Verde Multiplex (The Green Island Multiplex), the places on the coast, the Estate of Saint Rossore and the Cistercian Charterhouse of Calci are not part of the city pedestrian circuit and can be reached by public or private transport. (Traced on the map shows only the city path by foot)
Finally, please note that the Pisorno / Cosmopolitan film studios cannot be visited, as they have been closed since the late 1960s.
