Greeting the summer - EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER
Yoga on the Walls at Sunset for the Autumn Equinox - Meditation at high altitude amid nature and architectural beauty
Between earth and sky, the high altitude walk on the Walls of Pisa always offers new opportunities to experience and discover the city from a different point of view. Like the appointment on Saturday 24 September with Yoga teacher Simila Laiatici of the 'Ananda Guna K9 ASD' association, who is organising the meditative walk 'Autumn Equinox with Yoga on the Walls at Sunset', to say goodbye to the summer sun and welcome autumn, the season of abandonment, of letting go to rest and regenerate. Appointment at 5 pm at the Torre di Legno, the access to the Walls near the Lungarni behind Piazza del Rosso, for a two-hour route in stages leading to Piazza dei Miracoli, alternating asana with meditative walking and moments of reflection, practising conscious breathing that helps to relax, manage emotions and fight stress, to find balance and energy. Grand finale on the world's most famous square with moments of meditation and relaxation at the most fascinating hour, sunset, surrounded by a panorama that combines architectural beauty and nature.
Tickets at 10 euros including entrance to the Walls, for information and registration: telephone 3924964722, email ananadagunak9@gmail.com
CoopCulture, Cooperativa Itinera and Promocultura make up the association of enterprises that manages the high-altitude walkway of the Ancient Walls of Pisa. Built between the 12th and 13th centuries, the Walls of Pisa are an example of the military architecture of the time, a sign of the greatness of the Pisan Republic and today a privileged vantage point from which to admire the city.
