The theatre was built in the 1930s as a daytime theatre for the boys of the establishment of the 'Italian Fascists Abroad' and during World War II it was occupied by the Americans and used as a military field hospital. After the war it was abandoned, but thanks to the restoration works carried out in 2008 - 2010, it was restored to its original forms, typical of rationalism with a conception of spaces that uses few architectural elements. It is the horizontal surfaces that characterise the place in its simplicity. Its capacity is 850 seats and the stage has an area of 130 square meters.
