In VOLTERRA CELEBRATION OF FLAVORS WITH THE 7th EXHIBITION MARKET OF THE MARZUOLO TRUFFLE

The highly anticipated appointment dedicated to truffle and typical products of the territory will inaugurate the Tuscan "spring of taste".

Under the Logge del Palazzo Pretorio in Piazza de' Priori the 7th EXHIBITION MARKET OF THE MARZUOLO TRUFFLE, traditional vernal appointment dedicated to one of the main products of the territory, the truffle, accompanied by many of the other specialties of the local basket including cheese, oil, wine, beer, cold cuts, sweets and chocolate told by the producers.

A host of excellences which during sunday will increase with the FLEA MARKET OF SHORT CHAIN, set in Piazza dei Priori and dedicated to the universe of the agri-food typicalities of the territory, strictly at km 0.

Also important the showcase that Volterra will dedicate to the world of wine, with a series of meetings and laboratories open to public scheduled at the Saletta di Via Turazza for the whole event length edited by the Association Vignaioli di Volterra.

After the debut of last year the PRIZE JARRO GIOVANI comes back too, appendix of the important acknowledgement from years given during the autumn edition of Volterragusto to the most important industry communicators: a prize that wants to valorize the commitment of those young people Under 35 who, for passion or work, have stood out in the work of valorizing the local basket of food and wine. RUBINA ROVINI, tuscan of Pontedera, chef and blogger, and ex competitor of the reality show "MasterChef", will receive it Sunday 3rd (5.30 pm) in the Palazzo dei Priori.

Other two nice appointments:  A CACCIA DI TARTUFO (hunting of the truffle), that will let you follow the truffle hunters and their hounds in a research for the precious tuber (starting at 3 pm in Piazza XX Settembre); the second VINILE ALLDAYER, an exhibition-exchange of vinyls for the lovers and the collectors.

For the whole weekend Volterra will hsot the "I MOTORAID VOLTERRA - FOLLONICA", exhibition of motorcycling organized by the association Moto Club Pomarance.

All the people who will visit Volterragusto will be able to use the "Volterra card - special event" to visit the museums in Volterra at the special price of 6 euros (instead of 14).
