From 18 July to 11 October 2015 the Piaggio Museum will host the exhibition named “The Vespa and the Butterfly. A century of Butterfly at the Piaggio Museum”. After a little more than 100 years from its first performance in 1904, this exhibition celebrates one of Giacomo Puccini’s best beloved operas, and it is above all the expression of a determination to “network” a series of excellent bodies in Tuscany (and further afield) with the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera, temple of another undisputed icon of Made in Italy: the Vespa.
