Palazzo Blu in Pisa hosts from 16 October, the exhibition dedicated to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, great artist and implacable observer of Parisian society of the end '800. The exhibition, curated by Maria Teresa Benedetti, wants to present to the Italian public and the international career of the artist, with works from major public and private collections in France and International. Over 150 works by the artist of Albi, the entire collection of his most famous posters, designs, careful selection of paintings and, for the first time in Italy, one of the most complete collection in the world of the graphic work of  the French artist, composed of first editions, and numerous lithographs presenting original dedications and notes in pencil by the artist. The exhibition consists of five sections: the first is dedicated to the protagonists and life in Montmartre; the second focuses on the theater; The third explores the Lautrec advertising, with graphic works he made to publicize and explain the various objects. The fourth presents the maisons closes, and in particular the series of eleven lithographs that make up the album Elles, built in 1896, in which the artist tells the daily life of prostitutes. The last section includes lithographs, drawings and paintings depicting enigmatic themes dear to Lautrec: the horses, the circus, meetings and issues of daily life, many of which were built with the lithographic technique of drypoint.
