"Sulle note di Nuti: una serata con Francesco" by Fabrizio Bartelloni and Marco Masoni.
Nuti’s singer, songwriter, musician is a well-known profile, but little explored and even less told, although in many of his films there are his musical incursions, now inserted in the soundtrack entrusted to his brother Giovanni and now immortalized by the camera. Beside these, among other things, there are recorded LPs, collaborations with important artists and the well-known participation in the 1988 Sanremo Festival with Sarà per te. With our meeting, in addition to reminding Francis by offering him a new spotlight, we will also try to rediscover this side, far from secondary in its artistic definition. The live event, consisting as usual of a mix of stories, images and songs, will be preceded by the projection of a pastiche of scenes from his most famous films.

FRIDAY 9 AUGUST - 9:15 p.m.
"Old & Nes standards" by Michele Lombardi, Piero Frassi and Dimitri Grechi Espinoza.
The artistic association between the Versilia singer Michela Lombardi and the Pisan pianist Piero Frassi goes on since 1997: in these decades the two have released many records together, especially the first for the Philology label ("Small Day Tomorrow", "Swingaholic", "So April Hearted", "Solitary Moon"), later for Atlantis/Saifam (such as the record on Sting and those with the Nico Gori Swing 10tet), alternating performances in larger formations with duo concerts, in which you can fully appreciate the telepathic agreement between the two Tuscan musicians, united by the love for the songs, the timing full of inventiveness and surprises and the story behind each song to tell. In the last album in which they collaborate, "Believe in Spring", a tribute to the music of Michel Legrand, special guest is the saxophonist Dimitri Grechi Espinoza, with whom they are linked a collaboration over ten years, besides the common taste for lyricism in the choice of themes and phrasing and the poetic intensity of the performance.
Every evening you can do an apericena (in collaboration with Osteria Il Granaio) and then attend the show at a cost of 20.00 € per person or participate only in concerts at a cost of 15.00 € per person.
