The mystery and charm of Saturn and its rings: a special night on top of the ancient walls of Pisa to admire the sky with telescopes mounted in height, immersed in the atmosphere of Piazza dei Miracoli.
Saturday 14 September from 9 p.m. to 24 'Saturn and the Walls': astronomical observations at 11 and 25 metres high, a stage-by-stage route between the gaseous giant, stars and galaxies, walking in altitude in the stretch between the Porta Nuova and the Santa Maria Tower.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Museum of Instruments of Physics and the Ludoteca Scientifica del Sistema Museale di ateneo dell'Università di Pisa. On the occasion it will be possible to climb exceptionally and extraordinary way at the top of the Santa Maria Tower, where one of the two telescopes mounted for the occasion will be placed.
Three shifts: at 9 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.. Ascent and descent from the access of Torre Santa Maria.
