From 16 June to 21 September 2024, the Museum of Ancient Ships of Pisa hosts the exhibition Paolo Staccioli. A traveller fascinated by the ancient by Michele Pierleoni.
Produced by Castagneto Banca 1910, the exhibition is a dialogue between the artist’s works and the exhibits on display, underlining the evocative aspects of Staccioli’s art that looks at antiquity with a contemporary eye.
The works of the artist are scattered throughout the museum, in a journey through the waves of fantasy and creativity of Paolo Staccioli, in balance between timeless elegance and changing lights.
The exhibition will be open during the opening hours, at the rates for access to the museum:
- Tuesday - Wednesday- Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
- Friday - Saturday - Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.;
- closed on Mondays
The ticket office closes one hour before the museum closes.
