The traditional Chorus Concert of the University of Pisan June is back, now in its twenty-fifth edition. Friday, June 7 at 21:30, in the church of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria, the University Chorus will perform the grandiose Mass with four voices with orchestra (called Messa di Gloria) by Giacomo Puccini, composed in Lucca in 1880.

The evening is organized as part of the celebrations on the occasion of the first centenary of the death of the composer from Lucca. For the occasion, the choristers of the Choir of the University of Perugia in cultural exchange with our University will join the large ranks of the Choir of Pisa. Soloists tenor Marco Mustaro and baritone Carlo Morini, together with the City of Grosseto Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Stefano Barandoni.

Admission is free. The event is organized by the Polo Musicale "Antonella Galanti" of CIDIC - Center for Innovation and Dissemination of Culture.
