From Friday 19 April to Sunday 19 May 2024, the Church of Santa Maria della Spina will host the exhibition 'Mauro Capitani. Opera Sacra'.

The exhibition is composed of 11 works of art produced by Capitani himself between 1971 and 2021 and was created by Daniele Conti, president of the association 'I Cavalieri', and the artist Mauro Capitani with the intention of spreading interest in and knowledge of Tuscan pictorial art in general and in particular that related to sacred art.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Municipality of Pisa, the Region of Tuscany and Confcommercio, and organised in collaboration with the 'I Cavalieri' association, the 'Mauro and Nuccia Capitani ETS' foundation and '50 Chimet'.
