"Art&the selfie run" is a non-competitive run, individual or team, which develops through the streets of the historic center of Pisa in a sort of 'treasure hunt' of monuments and points of interest of the city,an event completely inclusive and that puts at the center of the places of the heart of the Pisans who must be better known and valued.
The event is free and will take place Saturday, May 11 (departure from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, meeting at 16.00, beginning at 17.00). From this week registration is open on the site https://theselfierun.it.
Organizers are the City of Pisa and the company Phisio Sport Lab, under the patronage of CONI.
The teams and athletes enrolled will have to make selfies at the points of cultural interest that will be indicated in a special map, which may also include some city museums (at the moment joined the museums of San Matteo and Graphics). At the same time, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, point of arrival and departure, a stage will be set up where the photos of the participants will be projected in a large ledwall and where it will be possible to perform. At the end, the winners will be awarded according to different requirements (more whimsical selfies, larger group ...).
The "Art&the selfie run" will have an inclusive approach, including a barrier-free route for the disabled, a dog friendly and one for the whole family with parents and strollers.
