PALAZZO BLU - from 10:30 a.m.
On the occasion of the NATIONAL DAY OF FAMILIES AT THE MUSEUM 2023, dedicated to the theme "OPEN MUSEUM", Palazzo Blu opens the doors of the Permanent Collection offering a targeted workshop. The themes of accessibility and welcome allow some of the works housed to be viewed in a new light, starting from the assumption that artistic expression is a vehicle for conveying messages, valid even at a distance of space and time.
LOOKING WITH THE HANDS
The young participants will walk through the rooms of the Permanent Collection to discover the history of Palazzo Blu and will be made to dwell in particular on Simon Vouet's painting "Portrait of Artemisia Gentileschi". Then in the workshop they will create a tactile painting with recycled materials, experimenting the variety of sensations that emerge through the texture of different materials.
Workshop duration: 1h 30 min.
Recommended age: 5 to 12 years (children must be accompanied by an adult).
