After the interruption due to the epidemic, the Amico Museo event resumes in 2022. Spring air in Tuscan museums organised by the Region of Tuscany with all the museums in the territory.

The Museo Nazionale di San Matteo offers visitors free guided tours, accessible to all on 28 May and 2 June 2022 at 11.30 am. Reservation is recommended, tel. 050.541865.

Through the presentation of the masterpieces of medieval art on display in the ancient Benedictine convent of San Matteo in Soarta, the museum tells us about us and our territory, the city's glorious past, our present and our future.

Throughout Tuscany between 6 May and 5 June there is a programme with many different activities to get to know the cultural heritage with proposals that involve visitors in creative experiences, because the museum can really be a great friend, with special attention to activities dedicated to families and initiatives for the disabled public.
