On Saturday, November 15th, all those interested could enjoy Betta Blues Society’s “arch-Pisan” Blues. This recently revived band puts its polestar, Elisabetta Maulo (voice, kazoo, ukulele) side by side with Lorenzo Marianelli (guitar, dobro, choirs) and Fabrizio Balest (double bass, choirs) in a performance which is expected to bring back to life the spirit of Blues music from the Thirties at the Lumière Centre – Via Tidi 6. Free entrance.
On Tuesday, November 18th, the stage will be taken by Pan del Diavolo, a band promoting their latest work at the Lumière Centre in Pisa (address: Via Tidi 6) as a date on their “Folkrockaboom Tour”. Their lately released album was published by cult label “La Tempesta” after having been mixed by Craig Schumacher in Arizona. The production was taken care of by the band members in collaboration with Antonio Gramentieri (Sacri Cuori). Pan del Diavolo is a folk/rock’n’roll duo composed by Pietro Alessandro Alosi (guitar, bass drum and voice) and Gianluca Bartolo (guitar and voice). The concert will begin at 10:00 p.m. Free entrance. This event has been arranged in collaboration with the Association “Diritti a Sinistra”.
This year’s closing date will be December, 11th,when the members of the band known as Gatti Mézzi are expected to warm up the atmosphere at the Lumière Centre in Pisa by presenting their latest cinematographic success: the soundtrack of the film “Fino a qui tutto bene”, a comedy by director Roan Johnson with Alessio Vassallo, Paolo Cioni, Silvia D'Amico, Guglielmo Favilla, Melissa Anna Bartolini and the friendly involvement of Isabella Ragonese. Free entrance with compulsory purchasing of one drink.
