The Museum of Palazzo Blu in Pisa is enriched by a splendid canvas by Artemisia Lomi Gentileschi, 'Christ and the Samaritan Woman at the Well' (1636 - 1637), large - almost three metres high -, in an extraordinary state of preservation, painted during the famous 'painter's' long and productive stay in Naples (1630 - 1654).
Thursday 17 November 2022, 5 p.m.: the large canvas will be presented in the rooms of the Palazzo Blu museum, with a seminar open to the public
From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 November, "Christ and the Samaritan Woman at the Well" will be on display free of charge in the permanent collection of Palazzo Blu during the museum's usual opening hours (Friday from 10 am to 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm).
