Samuele Finzi lives in Florence, where he leads a peaceful life following the precepts of the Jewish tradition. In the garden of his house there is an old olive tree, in whose cavity Sami puts his "treasures". But with the entry into force of the anti-Jewish laws his life changes forever ... From the story of Samuele di Anna Sarfatti and through the vision of documents kept in the Archive of the Jewish Community, the boys reconstruct a true story of a child as many who at once must abandon his life and bend in the face of events incomprehensible to him.
