On October 10th and 11th, respectively from 9am to 2pm 'Pisa half marathon'.

The 'Pisa Half Marathon' was created to promote the donation of organs and tissues and to support the families of people undergoing transplantation.

The idea of conveying this message through a sporting event was born on April 25th, 2001 when a patient, transplanted a few months ago, decided to participate in a non-competitive running event that was held in Pisa, running 15 km.
