It will be open until 8th November 2019 in the MAAC premises (Meeting Art Craft Center) of the Palazzo Affari in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II 'Resurrectio - tribute to the Pisan mountains': the exhibition that the sculptor Andrea Roggi dedicates to the rebirth of Monte Pisano after the devastating fires in recent months. The exhibition is part of the InnovArte project: an initiative conceived by the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa to promote those subjects who have demonstrated their ability to combine art, territory and economy.
Characterizing element of the exhibition, located inside the building that houses offices open to the public, is represented by the olive tree: the landscape and economic heritage of Monte Pisano. The director of the exhibition, the architect Alberto Bartalini, places at the entrance of the exhibition 'Il Mondo Unima Anima' a work with which the sculptor wanted to represent a sort of metaphor, both in its iconographic meaning, and in that symbolic of plant life and where human figures fit into phytomorphic forms in which the diversity of elements mixes, creating a sculpture rich in detail and charm.
The exhibition, with free admission, will be open until November 8th, Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 9 am to 1 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 5pm and during events organized within the MACC while it will remain closed in days 22, 25 and 26 April as well as 17 June, 15 and 16 August and 1 November 2019. The Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Pisa, the Municipality of Calci and the Municipality of Vicopisano have granted the initiative.
