The new "Academy Virtual Art Gallery", a nonprofit virtual art gallery accessible at: http://academyvirtualartgallery.web.com and directed by Bruno Pollacci, artist and director of the Pisa Academy of Art, inaugurates the his own exhibition project with a singular exhibition featuring a selection of images of oil paintings representing the landscapes and interior of British politician, statist, historian and journalist Winston Churchill, born in Woodstock in 1874 and dead in 1965 in London. Prime Minister of great character who led the United Kingdom during World War II and who discovered painting around the age of 40, experiencing it as a relaxing passion that accompanied him all his life, even with happy pictorial intuitions, sometimes of surprising freshness, expressive synthesis and freedom, impressionist, worthy of an artist from the achieved professional maturity. The exhibition is open 24 hours a day. From 6 September to 31 October
