The Municipality of Pisa has joined the National Urban Trekking Day which will take place on October 31st across Italy. This year's theme: 'How green is my city'. An unusual way to discover the city that allows you to combine sport, taste, culture and desire to know both the famous places all over the world but also the most hidden and out of the traditional paths that together represent the soul and genius loci of Pisa. 

Born in Siena in 2003, urban trekking is a slow tourism offer consisting of walking routes that touch art monuments, panoramic points, artisan shops, markets, typical cuisine taverns, practically all the places where it is possible to enter contact with the most characteristic aspects of local life. Last year 49 cities from 16 regions joined the event, including five regional cities.
