The exhibition of paintings by Giuliana Conti 'Oltre il Colore' (Beyond Colour), a painter from Carrara, arrives in the exhibition space 'Sopra le Logge' of the Municipality of Pisa.
Born in 1952, Conti participated in various competitions as a self-taught painter in her youth, receiving important awards. After a life in fashion that led her away from her great passion, she finally picked up her paintbrush again in 2019. The result is a particular production, made not only of colours but also of various applications such as trimmings and fabric cuttings. In November 2021, he exhibited in Carrara at Galleria Civico 1.
The location Sopra Le Logge, an important work of contemporary architecture, fits into the historical centre of the city with elegance and balance, allowing wide views of the city and of Palazzo Gambacorti (seat of the Municipality) as well as access to the State Archives on the first floor of the Logge or to the nearby Palazzo Blu.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Municipality of Pisa, will be inaugurated on 23 March at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of the Culture Councillor Pierpaolo Magnani and will remain open to the public until 5 April, every day from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
