On Friday 5th January, at 6.15 pm at Officine Garibaldi in via Gioberti in Pisa, "There is Rembrandt outside the walls of San Paolo", the posthumous novel by Ubaldo De Robertis: Antonio Cecconi, proposed by Calci; Renzo Zucchini, curator of the Centopagine Necklace of Istos Editions.

 

Something about the book: Cassino 1978. Paolo, a 60-year-old in a wheelchair, lost his memory following an event linked to the war. He is now tormented by a man dressed in white who calls him Charles in a dream and invites him to take a journey to discover himself. Paolo starts with his partner Teresa and her nephew, Lorenzo, first to Rome, then to the province of Brescia, where, in front of a small temple dedicated to San Carlo, the mysterious man of the dream will allow the protagonist to reappropriate the his identity. To the reader the task of finding out who is historically the man dressed in white. The copyright and profits are entirely donated to the San Vincenzo de 'Paoli pisana.

 

Ubaldo De Robertis was born in the Marche region and lived in Pisa. He was a nuclear chemical researcher, member of the National Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature, 2014 Marcello Seta Prize for Humanistic and Scientific Culture. He wrote stories, novels and poems.
