The cycle of screenings of films with free admission returns, which the Scuola Normale organizes in Piazza dei Cavalieri, in collaboration with the Arsenal Cinema and the Municipality of Pisa. From Sunday 23rd to Thursday 27th June, at 9.30pm, 5 films whose main theme is life in the school.
 
It begins Sunday with 'Scialla! (Stay serene) ', with Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Barbora Bobuľová, Filippo Scicchitano, Vinicio Marchioni. The film will be introduced by the Director of the Normale, Luigi Ambrosio, in the presence of the director Francesco Bruni.
 
The first episode of the saga of Harry Potter, 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', by Chris Columbus, will be screened on Monday with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson Rupert Grint, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis. The film will be presented by Francesco Morosi, research fellow.
 
On Tuesday it will be the turn of a classic, 'L' attimo fuggente '(Dead Poets Society), the Oscar-winning film by Peter Weir, with Robin Williams, Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard. Luigi Rolandi, professor of particle physics, introduced him.
 
Wednesday the space for 'Il ragazzo invisibile', by Gabriele Salvatores, with Ludovico Girardello, Valeria Golino and Fabrizio Bentivoglio. Present the film Marco Signori, perfecting Philosophy.
 
Last screening on Thursday, with 'La classe - Entre les murs', the film by Laurent Cantet winner of the Golden Palm at Cannes in 2008, with François Bégaudeau who plays the role of teacher, author of the novel from which the film is based. Introduced by the professor of logic and philosophy of science Mario Piazza.
