The XXIII Cetilar® Pisa Marathon returns on Sunday 18 December 2022. Races for everyone with the three distances: 42.195 km, 21.097 km and 4 miles. Technical T-shirt in the race packet for all runners. Among the men expected are Jbari Khalid, Gibs, Gutiérrez and the Italian Grano. Also in the race are Meucci from Pisa and the Italian La Rosa. In the women's category, Lenah Jerotich, Denise Tappatà and Claudia Marietta are expected to compete.

The event includes the 42.195 km marathon on an AIMS-World Athletics and Fidal certified course, the 21.097 km 'Pisanina' half marathon and the 4-mile race.

Runners from 58 nations around the world ran, rejoiced, experienced and visited Pisa on the last Sunday before Christmas. Running and crossing the finish line under the Leaning Tower has a unique fascination. Last year too, the charge of around two thousand runners flooded the city, returning to run and restarting with great enthusiasm after the stop in the pandemic years.
