On Monday 17 January at 18.00, in the church of Sant'Antonio in Pisa, the traditional celebration of the Day of Sant'Antonio Abate will take place, the day on which the so-called 'battagliaccia' of the Gioco del Ponte was played in Pisa in ancient times. The feast day is organised by the Associazione Amici del Gioco del Ponte.
A small representation of the Council of Elders and the Parties will also participate in Monday's celebrations.
Among the planned initiatives there will also be a commemorative postcard depicting the first banner of the Associazione Amici del Gioco del Ponte.
