Video witnesses, historical documents, audio reconstructions, visual experimentations, virtual walking routes through the city, interactive maps, vintage pictures, private diaries, archive clips and multi-media installations turn into an ongoing exhibition. An exhibition whose declared purpose is to captivate the public, who is expected to get involved in shared workshop activities, aimed to cross-generational consciousness interplays.
"As a project, MemorySharing aspires to create a new way of treasuring a community’s heritage in terms of memories and private documents. The recipe consists in joining cutting-edge web technologies and scientific reliability with a creative approach to sharing contents by means of a multi-media narration. The primary intention is that of building a bridge between generations based on a comparison between different experiences. Such interplay is meant to strengthen the perception of a shared past in a dynamic and amusing perspective which is expected to actively engage both elder and younger people".
