For the first time in Italy a digital art show dedicated to great artists of the sixteenth century. An unprecedented form thanks to which works by Bosch, Brueghel and Arcimboldo appear in all their strength, effervescence and majesty. The great spectacular show Bosch, Brueghel, Arcimboldo arrives in Pisa between magical and dreamy atmospheres that give the public a total immersion in the works through a combination of images, music and technology.
30 minutes of show, with over 2,000 images and music ranging from 'Carmina Burana' by Carl Orff to 'The Four Seasons' by Vivaldi up to the 2012 tribute version of 'Stairway to Heaven' by Led Zeppelin: the Arsenals are populated by innumerable fantastic and allegorical creatures with vivid and changing colors in a lyrical and poetic atmosphere. Alchemy, religion and astrology; vanity, temptations and vices: these are the themes depicted by Bosch, Brueghel and Arcimboldo with an acute sense of detail that surround the visitor at 360 degrees.
Nothing to do with what has already been seen and not just projections, but a directorial skillfully built by Gianfranco Iannuzzi, Renato Gatto and Massimiliano Siccardi, with a soundtrack edited by Luca Longobardi, able to involve, overwhelm and excite.
The show - divided into three stages - opens with a prologue inspired by the creation of the world of Bosch - 'The Garden of Delights' - and unfolds on the walls, on the windows and the floor that become the canvas of works such as 'Ascesa all' Empireo '(1500, Bosch),' The Garden of Eden 'and the' Fall of Man '(c. 1615, Brueghel and PP Rubens),' River Landscape '(Brueghel),' Allegory of Music '(Brueghel) , 'Terra' (c. 1570, Arcimboldo), 'The Last Judgment' (Bosch), 'Tower of Babel' (1563, Pieter Brueghel the Younger), 'Spring' (Arcimboldo), 'Four Seasons in a Head' ( About 1590, Arcimboldo).
The dreamlike and surreal scenes, full of bizarre characters, show enchanted worlds of which there is the desire to cross the threshold for a journey through fascinating universes that the visitor will be able to scrutinize in the smallest details as only a scholar with his magnifying glass a few millimeters from the canvas.
Under the patronage of the Tuscany Region and the Municipality of Pisa, the exhibition is produced in Italy by the Arthemisia Group and Sensorial Art Experience and with the support of Banca di Pisa and Fornacette. Authors of the show are Gianfranco Iannuzzi, Renato Gatto, Massimiliano Siccardi and Luca Longobardi for the musical part. Produced in France by Culturespaces in Carrières de Lumières, the only place where this project has been realized before, the exhibition has had over 650,000 visitors.
