On the occasion of 21 September, World Alzheimer's Day, the Athenaeum Museum System is organising an initiative entitled 'Si sta come d'autunno sugli alberi le foglie' ('Like autumn leaves on trees'), at the Botanical Garden and Museum, starting at 10.30 a.m. 

This is a sensory experience dedicated to the discovery of thoughts, memories and emotions inspired by leaves and reserved for people with Alzheimer's or other dementia and their carers.

During the day, in the bookshop spaces, it will be possible to admire some works by the artist Tiziana Deri dedicated to the theme 'nature'.

The event is organised in collaboration with AIMA - Associazione Italiana Malattia di Alzheimer, Pisa section.

Participation is free of charge. To participate, it is necessary to book by sending an e-mail to accessibilita@sma.unipi.it by Monday 19 September at 1 p.m.
