The first edition of the Vicopisano's Medieval Festival is dated back to 1996 and over the years the festival has grown in importance, especially thanks to the happy marriage between the beautiful historic city of Vicopisano and the effective reconstruction of medieval implemented by the organizers and partygoers.

"Taverns", where the innkeepers offer frugal meals, will be located along the village's streets  that lead to the top of the hill on which stands Vicopisano, dominated by the mighty fortress of Brunelleschi, the famous Florentine architect.
