Great success was recorded at the Church of the Spina on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, when the church remained open to allow visits to the Infiorata dell'Annunciazione created by the Proloco of Fucecchio on the occasion of the Capodanno Pisano. A great many curious Pisans and tourists passing along the Lungarni stopped to admire the reproduction with flower petals of an image of the Annunciation, set up on the floor of the church on Saturday morning. To allow the floral work to still be appreciated until it dries, the Municipality of Pisa has decided to extend the extraordinary opening of the church for Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 March, with opening hours of 10am-1pm and 3pm-6pm.
