THE EVENT WEA CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER.

On Saturday 4 November 2023, ceremonies are scheduled to mark 'National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day', promoted by the Municipality of Pisa, the Province of Pisa, the Prefecture of Pisa and the Military Presidium.

This is the programme of the day:

9.30 a.m. Ponte di Mezzo, flag-raising ceremony and national anthem. Speeches by Maria Luisa D'Alessandro, Prefect of Pisa and reading of message from the President of the Republic; Gen Giuseppe Addesa, Commander of the Military Presidium and reading of message from the Minister of Defence; Michele Conti, Mayor of Pisa; Massimiliano Angori, President of the Province of Pisa.

10.20 a.m. Giardino Caduti di Laconi G 222 Lupo 92 - via Carlo Del Prete, laying of laurel wreath;

11.00 a.m. Monument to the Fallen G 222 Lyra 34 - Marina di Pisa, Largo Betti, laying of laurel wreath;

11.30 a.m. Monument to the Fallen of Nassirya - Tirrenia, via dei Fiori, laying of laurel wreath

12.00 noon Monument to the Fallen of the Great War - San Piero a Grado, via Livornese, laying of laurel wreath

3.30 p.m. Ponte di Mezzo, lowering of the flag;

6.00 p.m. Logge di Banchi, concert by the Società Filarmonica Pisana.
