The Mura Botaniche initiative, organised by the Botanical Garden and Museum in collaboration with Mura di Pisa, is back again this year.
There are three appointments on the calendar for this special guided tour on the high walkway of the Walls and the Botanical Garden. The protagonist will be the flora that grows on the Walls and in the immediate vicinity: the staff of the Botanical Garden and Museum will guide participants in getting to know the urban flora: from the caper flowers, typical of the Walls, to the plants growing in the vicinity.
Starting from the ascent of the Piezometric Tower, the first part will end in Piazza dei Miracoli, after which the visit will continue in the Botanical Garden.
These are the dates on the calendar
- Saturday 20 April, 15:00
- Saturday 11 May, 15:00
- Saturday 8 June, 10:00 a.m.
The duration of the visits is approximately 3 hours.
Places are limited and reservations must be made by e-mail at: educazione.ortomuseobot@sma.unipi.it; reservations must be received by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the visit.
The cost is 8 euros per person and includes access to both the Walls and the Botanical Garden and Museum, to be paid on site.
