Sunday 1 September sees the renewal of the appointment with Domenica al Museo, the Ministry of Culture's initiative that allows free entry, every first Sunday of the month, to state museums and archaeological parks.

At 10 a.m.,after the summer break, Professor Marco Collareta returns with a talk on the museum's crosses. The museum of San matteo houses the world's largest collection of monumental painted crosses, evidence of one of the high points of medieval painting in the period between the 11th and 13th centuries.
