On 21 and 22 September 2024 will be held the 3rd edition of the PSPI Pisa Street Photography International 2024 Festival, two days dedicated to street photography with free admission for all, at theSMS exhibition space on Viale delle Piagge.
The PSPI Festival is the street photography festival that in the two previous editions has involved many amateur photographers and professionals from all over the world.
This year, more than 220 street photographs from all over the world will be on display, which came to us through a competition that had as judges 6 world-renowned photographers (Siegfried Hansen, David Gibson, Pia Parolin, Valerie Six , Edas Wong and Nazile Bolat).
Among the events there will also be an exhibition dedicated to Italian photographers with the collaboration of Women In Street Italy an organization that cares for female photography.
During the two days of festival many activities will be among which:
- Talk by David Gibson, author and photographer who has printed books on street photography sold all over the world, the talk by Pia Parolin and Valerie Six, two excellent photographers of world fame, and the talk by Siegfried Hansen, the best German photographer, photo teacher and Leica ambassador.
- Portfolio readings that will have as readers Ttefano Mirabella and Alessandro Fruzzetti.
- Photoslam by the CReC Piaggio photo club in Pontedera.
- Photo-marathon curated by photowxperience.
- Photo-walk with Barbara Di Maio and Francesca Tiboni.
Sunday 22 there will be the Canon Day where anyone can test the products of the famous brand Canon.
