The Church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri becomes accessible again for two consecutive weekends.
Citizens and tourists alike on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 September will be able to access the interior of the building designed by Giorgio Vasari in the 16th century, when the Order of the Knights of Santo Stefano was established in Pisa, from 4 to 8 pm.
On Friday 27 September, on the occasion of Bright Night, the church will open extraordinarily from 7.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.
It will also be open on the occasion of the European Heritage Days with these opening times
- Saturday 28 September from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
- Sunday 29 September from 3.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
During these openings, it will be possible to discover the treasures of the building accompanied by students of the Scuola Normale Superiore by booking on https://piazzadeicavalieri.sns.it/prenotazioni/.
The visits are made possible thanks to the project for the enhancement of the buildings and monuments in Piazza dei Cavalieri by the Scuola Normale and Fondazione Pisa.
