It’s back again this year "NavigArte. NavigAtions between dance, music, visual arts at the Sea Gate", the international festival directed by Flavia Bucciero that from 13 September to 18 October will transform the city of Pisa into an open-air stage where original sounds - even those urban captured in direct capture - meet the site-dance choreographiesspecific and the theatre.
The XIV edition of the exhibition, born in 2011 from an idea of Con.Cor.D.A./Movimentoinactor, supported by Regione Toscana, Fondazione Pisa and Comune di Pisa and realized with the collaboration of Università di Pisa, UniCoopFi di Firenze and the Pisa Section, The walls of Pisa and Cerratelli Foundation, R.A.T, will open its doors on September 13 and 14 with a two-day dance in the wonderful setting of the Sangallo Bastion inside the Scotto Garden. A proposal of dance performances by Companies of national and international fame that will also continue at Teatri di Danza e delle Arti in Corte Sanac and that will see among the novelties two tributes to the genius of Giacomo Puccini on the centenary of his death.
The programme
It starts on Friday, September 13 at 20.00 at the Bastion San Gallo - Giardino Scotto with "Silence-Music of Life", a choreographic and sound performance by the ArtGarageDanceCo company from Pozzuoli. In the show, choreographer Emma Cianchi has created soundscapes made up of external noises captured during the action, through the body that becomes its own instrument. Follows the show of the Borderline Dance Company of Salerno in "Scherzetto" by Claudio Malangone through the mythological personifications of human nature, investigates some rational and irrational, natural and daily, dark and mysterious aspects, related to existence. The evening ends with "The state of matter - The game" by Compagnia Estemporada, a reflection on the space that the material form occupies in our mind becoming thought.
Saturday 14 September always at 8.00 pm, is the Company Hostess With. Cor.D.A./Movimentoinactor to bring on stage "Alice, the Sibilla and reality in reverse", the show of dance, word and music in which one imagines an impossible encounter, that between the Alice of L.Carroll and the Sibilla cumana.
Friday, September 20 at 21.00 continues the Festival at Teatri di Danza e delle Arti, where will be staged the preview of the show of Asmed/ Ballet of Sardinia-Cagliari "The dance of the muted servants". A journey through traditional couple dances, waltz, tango, polka, bolero, but distorted by an interpretation in a contemporary key. Follows "Corazze chiedono carezze" by and with Rocco Suma, a sincere exploration and intimacy of the emotional sphere deeper than ourselves.
On September 27, always at Teatri di Danza e delle Arti in Corte Sanac at 21.00 we will attend the show of Con. Cor.D.A./Movimentoinactor "Aporie del presente" by and with Iolanda Del Vecchio and Silvio Sgueglia in which the artists investigate the relationship with themselves and the manifest reality, By talking to it through fluid languages of our time in the conviction that art must be a community phenomenon. Will follow the show "Luggage of life" by and with Leila Ghiabbi in which a luggage becomes a place of meeting and clash of different identities represented by suitcases and turns into an opportunity for a journey to a world where words, The gestures are free and take shape without fear or judgment.
Thursday, October 3 at 21.00 always at Theatres of Dance and the Arts in Court Sanac is scheduled the show of the Company Chille De La Balanza "A girl" by and with Sara Tombelli, the story of Anna who leaves home at night, why she should be silent at home and instead she has the urgency to tell herself and the need to be heard. Great anticipation for "Caro Giacomo, a me sembrano tutti pazzi", theatrical show in the form of concert for clarinet, piano and actor born from an idea of Salvatore dell'Isola.
A tribute to Giacomo Puccini on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his death, which will be staged on Friday, 11 October at 9.00 pm.
Sunday, October 13 at 17.30 instead will be the Prometeo Theatre Cooperative of Bolzano to bring on stage "The battle of socks" show particularly suitable for children that through the story of unpaired socks invites you to reflect on the rules of civil coexistence, Trying to overcome stereotypes and conventions.
Grand finale on Friday, October 18 at 17.00 at the Bastione del Parlascio in Largo del Parlascio with the show "Le donne di Puccini" by Flavia Bucciero on original music by Antonello Paliotti. In the show, Giacomo Puccini is shown to us in his humanity and contradictions. On the occasion, the percussion students of M°Francesco Dell'Omo of the Liceo Musicale di Pisa will perform some live songs that have been expressly transcribed for percussion by the composer Paliotti.
