The Mediterranean, Yesterday and Today
An initiative set up in collaboration with the EMERGENCY groups of Pisa and Florence, whose proceeds, net of expenses, will go to the humanitarian organisation that has been providing free, high quality medical and surgical care to victims of war, landmines and poverty since 1994.

On Saturday 26 October at 4.00 p.m., it will be possible to take part in a guided tour of the Museo delle Navi in Pisa, to discover the trade routes through which in ancient times goods, people and ideas circulated throughout the Mediterranean and to recount what happens today in that same sea, with the routes of migratory flows, shipwrecks and rejections, through an immersive augmented reality experience relating to a rescue from the Life Support, Emergency's search and rescue ship.
Emergency's volunteers will be present with visors for the augmented reality experience that will allow them to witness a search and rescue operation at sea.
