Back in Pisa, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 June, the second edition of 'Giorni di Tuono', the comics, music and film festival dedicated to Tuono Pettinato, the stage name of Andrea Paggiaro (Pisa 1976-2021), one of the most important figures in contemporary comics. The programme includes many events that will take place in various locations in the city (free admission).

This year's programme will broaden the list of guests and initiatives, always preserving the "Tuono" character, that sly and ironic look to decode reality, hosting numerous meetings and events that will celebrate comics through interventions by young authors and great masters.

Friday 9 June
12.00 - Museo della Grafica - Nel bosco dell'innocenza. Tables from Tuono Pettinato's 'Corpicino' Exhibition opening and institutional greetings. Speakers: Lia Remorini, Alessandro Tosi, Ratigher and Giovanni Ferrara.
4.30 p.m. - SMS Biblio - Magnifici lavativi Exhibition of comics created by boys and girls from the I.C. "R. Fucini" of Pisa. Speakers: Silvia Paganelli with Alice Milani and Giovanni Timpano.
17.00 - SMS Biblio - Sofia Kovalevskaja. Life and revolutions of a brilliant mathematician Presentation of Alice Milani's book with the author, moderated by Maurizio Vaccaro.
6 pm - SMS Biblio - Alluvioni a catinelle Presentation of the book by Tuono Pettinato and Francesca Riccioni, with the author and Lorenzo Malpaga, moderated by Guido Siliotto.
7.00 pm - SMS Biblio - Comics & Science - The HPC Issue Presentation of the book with Roberto Natalini and Andrea Plazzi, moderated by Maurizio Vaccaro.
21.00 - Cineclub Arsenale - Every Thursday a strip Presentation of the book by Fumettibrutti with the author, interviewed by Guido Siliotto.
22.00 - Cineclub Arsenale - Tutto il nero del bianco e nero Presentation of the reprint of 'Corpicino' by Tuono Pettinato with Ratigher, Andrea Bruno and Alessio Trabacchini, moderated by Antonio Capellupo.
23.00 - Cineclub Arsenale - Com'è monstruoso lei! Maratuona' night of the films that inspired 'Corpicino' with screenings of Fritz Lang's 'M - The Monster of Düsseldorf', Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Conspiracy of the Innocents' and Marco Bellocchio's 'Slap the Monster on the Front Page'.

Saturday 10 June
12.00 noon - Concept River - Reading ELLERRENNEZZETA Opening of the exhibition by LRNZ, winner of the Tuono Pettinato 2023 Award and meeting with the author, interviewed by Guido Siliotto. Presentation of the 3rd edition of the Award with Francesca Pepi.
6.00 p.m. - Giardino Scotto - Tuono Pettinato Scholarship Presentation of the winner of the 1st edition, Roberto Guerinoni, with Lia Remorini, Ratigher and Andrea Bruno.
6.30 pm - Giardino Scotto - Hey there Beppe! 50 years of Lupo Alberto Meeting with Silver, with Lorenzo La Neve, Francesco Guarnaccia and Dottor Pira, moderated by Maicol&Mirco.
7.30 pm - Giardino Scotto - Mega Tree Majokko all'attakko! Presentation of the animated project and meeting with Sio, Francesco Guarnaccia and Matilde Simoni, moderated by Antonio Capellupo.

18.00 - Cineclub Arsenale - Tribute to Bonvi - Nick Carter from TV to Comics Meeting in collaboration with Fumetti&Popcorn with Sofia Bonvicini and Alberto Brambilla, moderated by Fabio Gadducci.
7.00 pm - La Nunziatina - Patrick Zaki. Una storia egiziana Presentation of the book by Gianluca Costantini and Laura Cappon and meeting with the author and Riccardo Noury, moderated by Virginia Tonfoni. To follow, meeting with Associazione Talenti Autistici.
