THE ARTIST
Elena Di Felice was born in Rome in 1961, lives and works in Narni (TR). In Viterbo she attended painting courses at the Academy of Fine Arts with Prof. L. S. Boille. At the end of the 1980s, he began his Goccismo, which derives from the identification of small identities that can be transformed initially by the effect of light on shapes and colours; then with subjects of varying moods and sizes until arriving, through various experiments, at a writing for images and fragments of painted paper (Paginette 2004). Since 1986 he has exhibited in over one hundred exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
The exhibition is part of the Nineteenth Day of Contemporary Art (Saturday 7 October 2023), an event promoted by AMACI - Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, realised with the support of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, and with the collaboration of the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which has been bringing contemporary art to the general public since 2005.
