On the occasion of Fibonacci Days 2023, the Museo degli Strumenti di Fisica-Ludoteca Scientifica and the Museo degli Strumenti per il Calcolo, in collaboration with the Department of Physics and the Department of Mathematics of the University of Pisa, are organising two conferences to commemorate the great challenges of the Pisan mathematician and his best-known work, the "Liber Abaci".
Thursday 23 November, 4 p.m. at Palazzo Gambacorti - Sala Baleari
"Leonardo Pisano and the first great mathematical challenges", with institutional greetings and introduction by Sergio Giudici of the Physics Department of the University of Pisa, speaker Franco Ghione of the Mathematics Department of the Tor Vergata University of Rome.
