TRAFFIC MODIFICATIONS
In order to allow the race to take place, the Municipal Police has ordered the closure to traffic and a ban on parking on the Lungarni and some adjacent squares and streets on Sunday 7 April.
As far as parking is concerned, from 11.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. parking is forbidden (with forced removal) in Via Curtatone and Montanara, Via San Frediano, Piazza Solferino and on the Pacinotti, Buozzi, Galilei, Fibonacci and Gambacorti embankments. In Piazza dei Cavalieri, parking is forbidden with forced removal in the entire area from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm.
The following streets will be affected by changes and closures for vehicular transit from 12.00 to 16.30: piazza dei Cavalieri, via Santa Maria, via Curtatone and Montanara, the Pacinotti, Buozzi, Galilei, Fibonacci, Gambacorti and Mediceo embankments, and the Vittoria, Fortezza, di Mezzo and Solferino bridges.
In addition, there will be closures to vehicular traffic limited to the time strictly necessary for the passage of the race, which will take the following routes.
Running route 'First fraction'. 5 km in a single lap, scheduled to start at 1.45 p.m. from Piazza dei Cavalieri proceeding along Via Ulisse Dini, Borgo Stretto, Piazza Garibaldi, Lungarno Mediceo, Lungarno Buozzi, Ponte della Vittoria, Lungarno Fibonacci, Lungarno Galilei, Lungarno Gambacorti, Ponte Solferino, Piazza Solferino, Via Roma, Piazza del Duomo, Piazza Arcivescovado, Via Capponi, Via Martiri, Via Dalmazia, Arco del Gualandi with arrival in Piazza dei Cavalieri.
Cycling route of 3.3 km to be repeated six times starting from Piazza dei Cavalieri at 2.00 pm: via San Frediano, via Curtatone e Montanara, Lungarno Pacinotti, Lungarno Mediceo, Lungarno Buozzi, Ponte della Vittoria, Lungarno Fibonacci, Lungarno Galilei, Lungarno Gambacorti, Ponte Solferino, Lungarno Pacinotti, via Curtatone e Montanara, via San Frediano, Piazza dei Cavalieri.
Second fraction" running route of 2.5 km, to be repeated twice: Piazza dei Cavalieri, Via Consoli del Mare, Via Sant'Apollonia, Via San Giuseppe, Via Capponi, Piazza Arcivescovado, Piazza del Duomo, Via Santa Maria, Via Collegio Ferdinando, Via Don Gaetano Boschi, Via Giacomo Leopardi, Via della Faggiola, Via Dalmazia, Arco del Gualandi with arrival in Piazza dei Cavalieri.
