Friday 8 March 2024, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day and on the proposal of the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, the entrance for women in museums, archaeological parks, monumental complexes, castles, villas and historic gardens and other places of state culture will be free.

- The San Matteo National Museum will be open from 9.00 to 19.00 (last admission at 18.30).
  At 17.00 there will be a free guided tour of the museum’s collections. 

- The National Museum of the Royal Palace will be open from 9.00 to 13.30 (last admission at 13.00).
  At 11:00 the museum staff will guide all visitors to discover some of the most significant female portraits in the collection.

The Museum of Ancient Ships also adheres to #8Marchalmuseum day, admission for women will be free from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm.
