On 25 April 2024, on the occasion of Liberation Day, state museums and archaeological parks will be open free of charge.

• The Museo Nazionale di San Matteo will be open from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (last admission at 1 p.m.). At 11.00 a.m. there will be a free guided tour of the museum collections by the staff. 
• The Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Reale will be open from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (last admission at 1 p.m.).
• The Museum of Ancient Ships will be open with reduced opening hours from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (last admission at 1 p.m.)
