On Sunday, 5 May 2024, the 24th Triathlon Sprint Silver Rank will take place in Marina di Pisa.
Numerous traffic modifications have been adopted by the Municipality, valid from 1.15 pm until 3.30 pm.
- Traffic will be suspended for the time necessary for the passage of the race in the following streets access arm on the south side of Piazza Baleari, section between Via Minorca and Piazza Baleari; access arm on the north side of Piazza Baleari, section between Via Maiorca and Via Tullio Crosio; Via Ivizza; Via Minorca, section between Via Moriconi and Piazza Baleari; Via Maiorca; Via Barbolani, section between Via Maiorca and Via Ceccherini; Via Ceccherini; Viale D'Annunzio, section between Viale D'Annunzio and the intersection with Via della Casa Rossa.
- Establishment of a closed-end road at the intersections leading to the roads affected by the event and establishment of two-way traffic with simultaneous alternating one-way traffic at sight in the following streets: via Scoglio della Meloria intersection with viale G. D'Annunzio; Via Don Callisto Mander, section between Via Ciurini and Via Barbolani; Via Barbolani, section between Via della Sirenetta and Via Maiorca; Via Ciurini, section between Piazza Viviani and Via Maiorca; Via Ciurini, section between Via Don Callisto Mander and Via Maiorca; Via Daiberto, section between Piazza Viviani and Via Maiorca. Closed turn lanes will also be imposed on the following streets: via della Foce intersection with via Ceccherini (roundabout); via Barbolani intersection with via Ceccherini (roundabout); viale D'Annunzio intersection with via Ceccherini (Bocca d'Arno roundabout).
- Institution of the obligation to turn right in the following streets: via Moriconi, section between via Duodo Duodi for vehicles coming from Tirrenia; via Don Callisto Mander, section between via Ciurini and via Milazzo, direction from piazza Maria Santissima Ausiliatrice; via della Casa Rossa, direction from Marina di Pisa to Pisa; via del Ragnaino, section leading onto viale G. D'Annunzio, direction from Marina di Pisa to Pisa
- Institution of the obligation to turn left in the following streets: via Milazzo, section between via Milazzo and via Ivizza, Tirrenia/Marina di Pisa direction of travel (only for the cycle race); via Don Callisto Mander intersection with via Ciurini for vehicles coming from the closed road; via Minorca, section between via Duodo Duodi and via Moriconi, direction of travel to Tirrenia; via Maiorca, after the completion of the 3rd cycle race, obligation to turn into via Daiberto
- Institution of a one-way street in via Milazzo, section between via Ciurini and via Ivizza, direction of travel to Tirrenia;
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a parking ban with forced removal is also imposed in the following streets access arm on the south side of Piazza Baleari, section between via Minorca and Piazza Baleari; access arm on the north side of Piazza Baleari, section between via Maiorca and via Tullio Crosio; Piazza Baleari; via Minorca, section between via Moriconi and Piazza Baleari; via Maiorca via Ivizza, including the entire parking area on the cycle track/sports field side, excluding authorised parking spaces; via Daiberto, on both sides in the area of intersection with via Maiorca, no parking for two spaces on each side of the intersection; via Barbolani, section between via Maiorca and via Ceccherini; via Ceccherini; viale D'Annunzio from house number 184 to house number 194.
With the same timetable, the suspension of the cycle path on Piazza Baleari and Via Tullio Crosio, in the section between Piazza Viviani and Piazza Baleari, is also instituted.
