On the stage of Teatro Nuovo di Pisa on December 7th at 9.30pm arrives 'Io', a fun show by the Mastrella-Rezza duo.
From 21.30 will move in a multicolored scene, made of art sheets by Flavia Mastrella, between mutant paintings that will have a short life, abandoned on earth in colored spots scattered in a dark world.
And here is 'I'. The exhausted radiologist, as the authors describe him, makes the plates on the patients' coats, while an impersonal being outrages the places of provenance by panting on a field made of calcium. 'I' grows inhumane and inhuman, inventing washing machines and instruments of quiet living. Finally the catastrophe: 'I' resizes itself.
Flavia Mastrella and Antonio Rezza since 1987 have created thirteen plays interpreted by Rezza and award-winning in major national comedy festivals (Cetona, Forte dei Marmi, Grottammare, Polverigi).
Extracts of these works have been transmitted for example by Rai 1, Rai 2, Canale 5. In November 2015 the duo debuted at the Teatro Astra in Turin with the last theatrical work 'Anelante'.
In June 2016, the Naples Award was awarded to them, and in October of the same year, 'Pitecus' was represented in New York at the LaMaMa Experimental Theater.
In July 2017 in Montecitorio, in Sala della Regina the duo was awarded a certificate of uniqueness in culture and in September the Ermete Novelli Award.
