On Saturday 26 April 2025, from 3.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., in Piazza Viviani in Marina di Pisa, the Cultural Association ‘I Cavalieri’ proposes ‘La mia Marina’ (My Marina), an afternoon meeting between associations and citizens with the aim of promoting and enhancing the Pisan coastline through knowledge, study, the history of the area and its food and wine.
The event includes book presentations, an exhibition of photos/images, reports and testimonies by citizens of Marignano and various associations, talk shows, musical performances with a final concert by a gospel choir, and games for children. There will also be exhibition stands with historical vehicles and a cooking show organised by the Associazione Cuochi Pisani with the participation of a star chef.
There will also be a cultural moment, with the presentation of books and a reference to Gabriele D'Annunzio, whose unpublished document will be on display in the atrium of Villa Romboli granted by the Port of Pisa and MDC, as well as some photos/images/drawings/sculptures that testify to the vitality of the town. The event is organised in close collaboration with Centro Culturale Calabrese Ausonia - ODV - Toscana Sindacato Italiano Balneari Litorale Pisano and enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa, Confcommercio Provincia di Pisa and Proloco Litorale Pisano.
