The summer review 'A river of books in Piazza Cavallotti', organised by the Erasmus Bookshop and the independent publishing houses of the province of Pisa, is now in its third edition. It will be held again this year in Piazza Cavallotti in Pisa from 10 to 21 July 2023 under the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa.
For a fortnight again this year, eight publishing houses from the Pisa area will present a cycle of open-air evening meetings to give space to the area's literary production. On new fiction and non-fiction published in recent months by Pisan publishing houses, authors and readers from our city will find a common meeting point in the piazza.
The participating publishing houses from the province of Pisa are Astarte Edizioni, Campano Edizioni, Carmignani Editrice, Edizioni ETS, Felici Editore, Marchetti Editore, Pacini Editore, and MdS Editore. On one occasion, the presentation of a book of poems by Jonathan Rizzo, the only one not published by one of the participating publishing houses, will also be accompanied by musical interventions.
