On Friday 13 December 2024 at 9 p.m. the 19th edition of the Christmas Concert in Pisa Cathedral, organised by the Opera della Primaziale Pisana with the contribution of the Pisa Foundation.
On the centenary of Giacomo Puccini's death, the programme will include the four-voice Mass for tenor, baritone, choir and orchestra also known as the Messa di Gloria, entrusted to the Cappella Musicale della Cattedrale di Pisa and the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, conducted by Riccardo Donati.
The children's choir will conclude the concert with some traditional Christmas carols.
During the concert, the audience will have the opportunity to support, with a free offer, the solidarity project ‘Mensa dei poveri’ (Canteen for the poor) promoted by the Archdiocese of Pisa-Caritas Diocesana.

Free admission with ticket. Reservations can only and exclusively be made online from 10 December at 2 pm.

Access to the online ticket office requires registration and a maximum of two tickets can be booked under the same name.
The online booking ends when the seats are no longer available and in any case at 14:00 on the day of the concert.
The receipt attached to the confirmation email must be exchanged at the ticket office by 6 p.m. on the day of the concert. Remaining and unclaimed tickets will only be distributed at the ticket office from 6 p.m. onwards.
Seats are numbered. The concert starts at 9 p.m. The public opening hours are indicated on the ticket. Access is permitted up to 15 minutes before the start of the concert. The Cathedral has two entrances through the doors in front of the Baptistery.
The monuments do not have a sector reserved for people with disabilities and tickets are free for everyone. Only persons with reduced mobility and in wheelchairs who wish to participate are asked to write by 10 December to animamundi@opapisa.it so that they can be guaranteed adequate space, in compliance with safety regulations.
